👉 indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided."
3- Who is Allah? Understanding God in Islam
The concept of God in Islam is a perfect concept - God, according to Islam, is one God, unique, perfect, eternal, ever living , and to him belongs all the perfect/good attributes.
Let me tell you about Almighty God The Greatest
who created you from nothingness, and saved you in the womb of your mother, and gave you hearing, sight, mind and heart and Honours you over all other creatures.
In Islam, we worship the One and only true God,
GOD, who created the moon, the sun, the humankind and the whole universe .
Almighty God is the All-Hearing Who responds to the supplication of His servant.
He is so close to you
He even knows what's in your heart without saying it .
You can talk to Him directly, Nothing in between
No pastor, no man
No mediator
It's just you and Him.
Direct connection.
Almighty God says :
Quran(2:186)
He is the Most Merciful, The Most Forgiving .
We need this, because all of us commit sins and need to repent to our Lord.
So when we commit a sin or fall short in our worship to Allah , we repent to him, knowing that he is the Most Merciful , The Most Forgiving .
Allah (Almighty God) says in Quran :
" Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
(39:53)
We call God in Arabic "Allah", which means Almighty God.
The word Allah is a standard translation of the English word Almighty God .
The word Allah is used by all Arab speakers from all faiths, including Arab Christians and Arab Jews, and both Muslims and Jews agree
That Allah is not a trinity God.
Now let me tell you more about Almighty God as he mentioned himself in the holy Quran,
We believe in the One True God alone without partners
We believe in the same God Who sent Abraham, Jesus, Moses and Muhammad, peace be upon them all.
Almighty God is One,
Unique
and Perfect
God has no partners, no equals and no rivals.
God has no father,
No mother,
No sons or daughters
No wives , No family.
God is perfect
Doesn't eat,
Nor Drinks
Nor sleeps.
God alone is worthy of all worship.
He is not like a man.
He is not an idol. He is not a trinity
One of the main beauties of Islam is that it acknowledges the complete perfection, greatness, and uniqueness of God with absolutely no compromises.
God is One and unique and has no rivals, partners, or sons. God is worthy of all Worship–directly and exclusively (no intermediaries). God is perfect and flawless–no limitations or weaknesses. God is the Most Merciful He knows we are imperfect and commit sins;
However, the key is to always acknowledge our mistakes and to sincerely ask for forgiveness. No part of God is present in His creation, nor do others share in His divine attributes.
When trying to understand the concept of God in Islam, it is important to discuss the status of Jesus, given the widespread confusion and claims about his nature.
Allah created the heavens and earth.
He is the One Who gives life and death;
He is the Creator and Sustainer from whom the slave seeks provision.
He is the All-Hearing Who responds to the supplication of His slave, and from whom the slave hopes for a response.
He is the All-Merciful and All-Forgiving, to whom the slave turns in repentance when he has committed a sin or fallen short in his worship of Allah.
He is the Omniscient and All-Seeing, who knows all intentions and what is hidden in people’s hearts.
The slave feels ashamed to commit a sin by doing wrong to himself or to others because his Lord is watching over him, and sees all that he does.
He knows that Allah is All-Wise, the Seer of the Unseen, so he trusts that what Allaah decrees for him is good; he knows that Allah will never be unjust to him and that everything that Allah decrees for him is good, even if he does not understand the wisdom behind it.
Allah is One God, Who has no partner, and Who has the most beautiful names and the highest attributes.
He is the Lord and Creator;
We put our trust in Him and ask Him for help, patience, and support.
The beautiful names of Allah indicate His perfection and freedom from deficiencies.
Allah does not forget, sleep, or get tired.
His seeing, like all other attributes, is not like human sight.
He is not unjust and has no son, mother, father, brother, associate, or helper.
He was not begotten, and he begets none.
He stands in need of none, as he is perfect.
He does not become or resemble humans and has no need to do so.
