What is Quran

Quran is

1- The last and everlasting Words of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him by Angel Gabriel.

2- Give life to those who are spiritually dead.

3. contains the answers to the mysteries of life and hereafter.

Where I came from , what happens after death , the purpose of life

4. It provides guidance on every aspect of human life.

Proof that the Quran is the Word of God in points

However, anyone can write a book and claim it is from the Creator, right?

So I will show you evidence that it is really from the Creator not from man.

1-  its miraculous literary and linguistic writing style .

God challenged  all mankind to produce a literary work of a similar calibre as the Quran , they all failed.

2- Preserved throughout the ages in its original language without even a single letter alteration.

3- Zero contradictions .

4- Zero errors.

5- contain many scientific facts proven by modern science such as the stages of embryonic development.

6- memorised by millions of Muslims around the world.

Now,  do  you agree that the Quran is just beyond human limitations??!

Proof that the Quran is the Word of God in details

The Quran is not only unique in the way in which it presents its subject matter, but it is also unique in that it is a miracle itself.

It's a miracle in many ways.

By the term “miracle,” we mean the performance of a supernatural or extraordinary event which cannot be duplicated by humans.

1.Quran Is free from any errors or contradictions, despite it being revealed over a period of 23 years.

It Is preserved, word-for-word, since it was revealed in its original Arabic language, unlike other scriptures which have been distorted, changed or lost.

When God revealed the Quran, He promised to preserve it.

The words we read today are the same as those memorised and  written down by the companions of Prophet Muhammad.

“It is We Who have sent down the remembrance (i.e. the   Quran) and surely, We will guard it from corruption.”

(Quran   15:9)

Thus it is the most important book and Muslims have no doubt that it is exactly the same today as it was when it was first revealed

to Prophet Muhammad, may God praise him.

It is not only  preserved in its written form , but it is also memorised by millions of muslims all around the world.

The Quran is 600 pages and you can see non speaking Arab muslims and they memorise all of the Quran by heart.

And children start memorising it by the age of 2 .

Allah said in Quran :  54:17

And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there anyone who will remember?

2. Another miracle is that it's a challenge

Allah  challenged the Arabs and all mankind to produce a literary work of a similar calibre as the Quran, but they were unable to do so in spite of their well-known eloquence and literary powers.

The challenge is still open and no one will ever win it.

Quran  17:88

Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants."

3. Another miracle which astonished people now is that it describes signs of God's existence in the universe and how everything is carefully placed in the total scheme of creation.

It contains many scientific facts that were only discovered a few years ago ,  like  about embryo formation in detail that has astonished all scientists how it's mentioned like this from 1400 years ago .

These are steps of embryo formation in mother's womb It's Amazing to know that these steps are mentioned in detail in the Quran .

This is a verse from the Quran:

"O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed -  that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind."

Quran (22:5)

Who told prophet Muhammad about the  embryonic development

Who was illiterate and lived in the desert 1400 years ago?

The only logical answer is that this information is from Allah.

Allah (God) said in Quran :

(We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?)

 Quran 41:53

This book is beyond human abilities, Agree ?

Last Revelation

There is a need for revelation to mankind, as it announces God’s presence to us and His Oneness.

It also explains God attributes,  and it provides us with a manual on how to live our lives.

Take this simple example, every time you buy an electrical gadget or device, what do you get with it in the box? An instruction manual!

This is to show you how to use it correctly, all the warnings, do’s and don’ts, recommendations, etc.

The Quran, which is the final revelation from God, is an instruction manual for human beings.

So it has within it the do’s and don’ts for life.

For example, save lives, be good to your neighbours, give to charity, do not consume intoxicants, do not gamble, do not lie etc. It also contains wisdom, morals, lessons, history, stories and so much more.

However, anyone can write a book and claim it is from the creator.

So a book that is truly from God would have some evidence to show it is from the creator and not from man.

The Quran has many pieces of evidence that can be explored such as its miraculous literary and linguistic features, or its preservation throughout the ages.

People's need for revelation

Mankind needs revelations, as it announces God’s presence to us of His Oneness. It also explains His nature (who He is) and it provides us with a manual on how to live our lives.

All revelation scriptures were revealed by God to His Prophets, like The Psalms, The Torah, The Gospel etc.

And they were all true in their original form.

However, people corrupted their scriptures, changed and altered its teachings. And their original text became lost.

In regards to the Bible, we believe that it was also correct in its original form, but due to alterations done to it by man intervention, it lost most of its authentic content and was not translated accurately.

So God sent The Quran, the final revelation to restore the real message of Jesus and all messengers, and to be an instruction manual for human beings. That HE preserved Himself from distortion or change. It Is preserved, word-for-word, since it was revealed in its original Arabic language, unlike other scriptures which have been distorted, changed or lost.

Miracles of Quran

Miracles of Quran 1

1. The Whole Quran

In the Quran, God commanded the Prophet to challenge all of creation to create a book of the stature of the Quran:

“Say: ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’”

(Quran 17:88)

2. Ten Chapters

Next, God made the challenge ostensibly easier by asking those who denied its divine origin to imitate even ten chapters of the Quran:

“Or do they say that he has invented it? Say (to them), ‘Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call (for help) on whomever you can besides God, if you are truthful.”

(Quran 11:13)

3. One Chapter

This final challenge was to produce even a single chapter to match what is in the Quran, whose shortest chapter, al-Kawthar, consists of only three verses:

“And if you all are in doubt about what I have revealed to My servant, bring a single chapter like it, and call your witnesses besides God if you are truthful.”

(Quran 2:23)

Miracles of Quran 2

These challenges were not just empty words with no one caring to prove them wrong. Prophet Muhammad’s call to monotheism, to the abolition of idolatry in all its forms, and to the equality of slaves and their masters threatened the whole socio-economic framework of Mecca society in general, and the position of the ruling Quraish tribe from which the Prophet came in particular. Mecca, the trading centre of Arabia, as well as its spiritual centre, desperately wanted to stop the spread of Islam.

Yet all that the Prophet’s opponents had to do to crush the movement was to make up a single chapter like any one of those which the Prophet and his followers were reciting to the people.

A number of Quraishi orators and poets tried to imitate the Quran, but they failed. They then resorted to offering him vast amounts of wealth, the position of king over them, and the most noble and beautiful of their women in exchange for his promise to stop inviting people to Islam.

He responded to them by reciting the first thirteen verses of Chapter Fussilat, until they asked him to stop.[1] The Quraish also resorted to torturing their slaves and relatives who had embraced Islam in a vain attempt to cause them to revert to paganism. Later they organised an economic boycott against the Prophet, his followers and the members of his clan, Banu Hashim, in an attempt to starve them into submission.

But even this plan eventually failed. Finally, they plotted to kill him in his home by sending armed young men from each of the clans of Quraish in order that the guilt of his murder be shared by all the clans, making revenge by the prophets clan impossible.

Miracles of Quran 3

However, God enabled the Prophet and his followers to flee Mecca and join a new band of converts who had arisen among the tribes of a city to the north called Yathrib.

Islam spread rapidly through the clans of Yathrib, and within a year Muslims became the city’s majority.

Prophet Muhammad was then made the ruler, and the name of the city was changed to Medina an-Nabi (The City of the Prophet may God praise him), which was then shortened to “Medina.” Over the next eight years, the clans of Mecca and its neighbouring lands mounted a series of unsuccessful battle campaigns against the emerging Muslim state in Medina, which ended with the Muslim invasion of Mecca itself.

All of this bloodshed could have been avoided if only the Quraish and their allies had been able to produce a mere three lines of poetry or flowing prose similar to the shortest chapter of the Quran. Hence, there can be no doubt about the inimitability of the Quran’s literary style, about the miracle of its rhyme and the marvel of its rhythm.

Miracles of Quran 4

It has been suggested that the inimitability of the Quran is not necessarily unique, for great English poets like Shakespeare, Chaucer, or great poets in any  tend to have distinctly unique styles which set them apart from their contemporaries. However, if, for example, some leading poet of today were to make an in-depth study of Shakespeare’s writings and write a sonnet in Shakespeare’s style in old ink and on old paper, then claim that he had discovered a lost poem of Shakespeare’s, the literary world would probably accept this claim, even after careful study.

Thus, even the greatest of poets could be imitated; no matter how unique his style was, just as the famous painters have been imitated. [In fact, some English scholars consider much of what has been attributed to Shakespeare to have been written by his contemporary, Christopher Marlowe.]

The Quran, however, is way above this level, as attempts to forge chapters have been made throughout the ages, yet none has withstood close scrutiny. And, as was mentioned before, the incentive to imitate the

The Quran was more intense during the time of its revelation when literary skills were at their peak than at any other time, yet there was no successful attempt.

Miracles of Quran 5

Animals have their own languages:

For centuries philosophers thought that only humans were rational while animals only followed instinct. Actually this false belief was so entrenched in Arabs that they included it in their grammar, referring to humans as rational (عاقل) and all other animals, plants and inanimate objects as irrational (غير عاقل).

However today scientists have confirmed that animals do not act by instinct alone, but rather animals have their own logic and communication systems, that is, they make rational decisions like humans but at a much lower scale...

However the Quran did not make the mistakes of the Arabs, instead it says that ants have their own logic and do communicate with their own species:

(Quran 27:18 )

    {Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."}

Here it is clear that the ants do have their own logic and do communicate.

The Quran also says that all animals glorify Allah but we cannot comprehend their way of glorification:

(Quran 17:44)

{The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.}

Animals live together in colonies:

Not only the Quran says that animals communicate with each other but also that they are communities, like humans :

(Quran 6:38 )

 {And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected a thing in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.}

Today we are certain that animals live in communities and have their own languages but 1400 years ago this was crazy.

Miracles of Quran 6

The Quran on Human Embryonic Development:

In the Quran, God speaks about the stages of man’s embryonic development:

(Translation of meaning)

We created man from an extract of clay.  Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed.  Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)...

(Quran, 23:12-14)

Literally, the Arabic word "alaqah" has three meanings: (1) leech, (2) suspended thing, and (3) blood clot.

-In comparing a leech to an embryo in the "alaqah" stage, we find similarity in appearance between the two .  Also, the embryo at this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech, which feeds on the blood of others.

-The second meaning of the word alaqah is “suspended thing.”  This perfectly describes the suspension of the embryo, during the alaqah stage, in the womb of the mother.

-The third meaning of the word alaqah is “blood clot.”  We find that the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs during the "alaqah" stage is similar to that of a blood clot.  This is due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo during this stage .

Also during this stage, the blood in the embryo does not circulate until the end of the third week. Thus, the embryo at this stage is like a clot of blood.

So the three meanings of the word "alaqah" correspond accurately to the descriptions of the embryo at the " alaqah ".

The next stage mentioned in the verse is the "mudghah" stage.  The Arabic word "mudghah " means “chewed substance.”  If one were to take a piece of gum and chew it in his or her mouth and then compare it with an embryo at the "mudghah" stage, we would conclude that the embryo at the "mudghah" stage acquires the appearance of a chewed substance.  This is because of the somites at the back of the embryo that “somewhat resemble teeth marks in a chewed substance.”

Fly

Throughout the Noble Quran, Allah Almighty used Parables.

The subjects in the parable were chosen for a purpose.  They weren't just mentioned by chance.

Similarly, Allah Almighty in Noble Verse

"O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued."

Quran (22:73)

had a Divine Wisdom and Purpose for using the fly and the impossibility of us getting the food particle back after it snatches it away.

Science has proven that flies digest their food before they eat it.  They literally vomit digestive and dissolving substances on the food particle to dissolve it whole into liquid and then they suck it all in.  So yes, it is absolutely true that once the fly successfully takes away a food particle from us, we absolutely can not bring that food particle back from it, because it had already been digested and dissolved by the fly before the latter even took off.

Fly Hadith

Prophet Muhammad's Hadith of the Fly

Narrated Abu Huraira: "The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:

"If a house fly falls in the drink of any of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease."

(Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 537)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, made a remarkable statement about the flies carrying antidotes , this is one of the amazing Prophecies in the Hadiths that have come to the past and are still impressing us today.

Pain receptors

PAIN RECEPTORS IN THE SKIN

It was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was dependent only on the brain.

Recent discoveries however prove that there are pain receptors present in the skin, without which a person would not be able to feel pain.

When a doctor examines a patient suffering from burn injuries, he verifies the degree of burns by a pinprick.

If the patient feels pain, the doctor is happy, because it indicates that the burns are superficial and the pain receptors are intact.

On the other hand, if the patient does not feel any pain, it indicates that it is a deep burn and the pain receptors have been destroyed.

The Quran gives a clear indication of the existence of pain receptors in the following verse:

“Those who reject our signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire;  as often as their skins  are roasted through,  We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste  the Penalty:for Allah is Exalted  in Power, Wise.”

[Al-Quran 4:56]

Prof. Tagatat Tejasen, Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, has spent a great amount of time on research of pain receptors.

Initially he could not believe that

The Quran mentioned this scientific fact 1,400 years ago.

He later verified the translation of this particular Quranic verse. Prof.

Tejasen was so impressed by the scientific accuracy of the Quranic verse, that at the 8th Saudi Medical Conference held in Riyadh on the Scientific Signs of Quran and Sunnah, he proudly proclaimed in public:

“There is no God but Allah and Muhammad (pbuh) is His Messenger.”
