Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.
We find the term “son of God” is symbolically used in the earliest biblical languages for a “righteous person” for many people – not exclusively for Jesus. God is far removed from having a physical and literal son.
Sons of God According to Bible
God had tons of sons according to the Bible, for example:
a. Angels (Job 38:7).
b. Righteous Persons (Wisdom of Solomon 2:15)
c. Kings of Israel (2 Samuel 7:14)
d. Israel as a whole (Hosea 11:1); Exodus 4:22-23
e. Solomon (2 Samuel 7:13-14)
f. King David: "... Jehova had said unto me (David), thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." (Psalm 2:7)
Really Confusing!!!
Which one to choose for worshipping today???
Take Your Pick!!!
Son of Man the preferred title.
Christians always say that Christ is the Son of God ... so I thought to myself; I have to search about this expression on the tongue of Christ by what he was describing himself.
I searched about this in the Gospels, as the Christians have four Bibles.
The Gospel of Mark was written from 58 AD to 60 AD.
The Gospel of Matthew was written from 61 AD to 64 AD.
The Gospel of Luke was written from 61 AD to 64 AD.
These three Gospels are similar; however, the Gospels of Matthew and Luke are a larger version than the Gospel of Mark.
The Gospel of John is completely different from the three other Gospels, it was written in the year 85 CE.
The purpose of this Gospel is to prove that Christ is the Son of God, however, it was written later, so there are many contradictions between it and the three other Gospels.
So I had to search about the preferred title of Christ.
The question is: How many times did Christ, with his tongue, say to his followers that he is the son of God ... and how many times did he describe himself as the son of man?
In the Gospel of Mark, the term “Son of God” is used zero times, however, the term “Son of Man” is used 13 times.
In the Gospel of Matthew, the term “Son of God” is used zero times, however, the term “Son of Man” is used 30 times.
In the Gospel of Luke, the term “Son of God “is used zero times, however, the term “Son of Man” is used 25 times.
As for the Gospel of John, both terms are found, as the goal of its writer is to prove the deity of Christ, and this Gospel is behind all the Gospels.
The strange thing is that the preferred title of Christ is Son of Man and he did not describe himself with the title” Son of God”.
In addition, when he was asked a direct question, Is he the Son of God or not?
He did not confirm. Rather, he said... You say.
Then they all said, "Are you the Son of God?" Then he said to them, "You say that I am He." (Luke 22:70).
In addition, the term “Son of God” was used for the people of Israel. Moreover, for the peacemakers. And for David and Solomon.... Therefore, it does not mean deity.
Despite this, Christ described himself, through the three gospels, as the Son of Man and not the Son of God.
Metaphorical language
Within the bible there is a matephorical language
which refers clearly to something else
for example
Mat 15:24: (Referring to Jesus)
"He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”"
This does not literally mean that children of israel are animals of Israel
They are Human beings referred to as Animals
The word”Father”
like the word father" refers to One God
as in John 20 :17.
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not ; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father ; and my God, and your God.
My father and your father
my God and your God
The birth of Jesus is a miracle like Adam
The birth of Jesus was a miracle as that of Adam creation .
Quran (3:59)
Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
So , Adam is God 's breath in flesh
Jesus is God's word in flesh !
The Messiah Jesus son of Mary is no more than a Messenger from God , who came to the Children of Israel with glad tidings and warnings, and Allah made him a sign for the people as his mother bore him without a husband,
but this sign does not make him a son of God, may He be exalted.
Adam (peace be upon him) did not have a father or a mother, according to the consensus of all religions,
So if merely being born without a father means that it may be said that the Messiah was the son of God, then Adam (peace be upon him) is more entitled to that.
Allah created Adam with His hand and breathed into him his soul created by Him, and told His angels to prostrate to him.
Eve creation greater than Jesus
And the creation of Eve (peace be upon her) was greater than the creation of Jesus son of Mary, but no wise person would say that she is the daughter of God.
She was created from Adam himself , from his rib.
Melchizedek a man in the bible without father nor mother without beginning no ending
If having no father makes Jesus a god Then,
What about Melchizedek who has no mother, no father, no beginning nor end of life?
Is he god, too!
At least Jesus had a mother and genealogy but Melchizedek didn't have
Heb 7:1-3: "Now this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, met Abraham as he was returning from defeating the kings and blessed him. To him also Abraham apportioned a tithe of everything. His name first means king of righteousness, then king of Salem, that is, king of peace. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, he has neither beginning days nor end of life but is like the son of God, and he remains a priest for all time."
The born son
Was Jesus the only begotten son of God mentioned in the bible ?
In the book of Psalms 2:7 we find “I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.”
David, in this verse, is saying that God had told him he was the son of God and God has begotten him.
Clearly Jesus is not the only begotten son of God.
Of course, one could say that although Jesus was not the only begotten son of God, he had no human father in contrast to David who had a human father.
That is true! Since Jesus had no human father it makes the relationship between him and God a closer one. The question is what about Adam?
Adam had no human father nor a human mother, and according to the Bible he too was the son of God.(Luke 3:38).
A begotten son is a son that came from a sexual intercourse between a male and a female.
So how could we describe the Almighty God of having a begotten son???!!!
And you will only find this verse in King James , as it was removed from all other versions , because it's really a Shame and a Disgrace to have such a verse therein .
From Quran (Allah has no son)
Muslim Belief from Quran
The Muslim must reject the notion that Allah has a son, because that implies need and that there is a being who is like unto Him, and these are matters which Allah is far above.
Devotion
Allah describes Himself in Quran :
He is Allah, the One!
The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither east nor drinks
"He begets not, nor was He begotten;
(He is not born and doesnt give birth)
And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
{Quran:112}
Maryam
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation That they attribute to the Most Merciful son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.
Quran 19:(88-95)
Al-Maaeda
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
(5:17)
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not any helpers for the wrongdoers any helpers.
(5:72)
Al-Tawbah
“And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!”
[al-Tawbah 9:30]
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said Whoever bears witness that there is no god except Allah alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger and that ‘Eesa (Jesus) is His slave and Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed upon Maryam and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real and Hell is real, Allah will admit him to Paradise (and grant him a position therein) according to his deeds.”
(al-Bukhaari, 3435; Muslim, 28)
