indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided."
Belief in God
Let me tell you about Almighty God The Greatest , who created you from nothingness and saved you in the womb of your mother and gave you hearing, sight, mind and heart, and honoured you over all other creatures.
We believe in the One True God alone without partners.
We believe in the same God Who sent Abraham, Jesus, Moses and Muhammad, peace be upon them all.
Almighty God is One,
Unique
and Perfect.
God has no partners, no equals and no rivals.
God is perfect
does not eat,
nor drinks
nor sleep.
God has no father,
No mother,
No sons or daughters
No wives , No family.
God alone is worthy of all worship.
He is not like a man.
He is not an idol .
He is not a trinity .
He is the Most Powerful who created the entire universe, stars, galaxies, skies and all living beings and to him belongs all the perfect/good attributes .
God is able to do all things, and He is the one who gives life and death.
God has full authority and power over all things.
Obedience to God does not increase His Power, nor does disobedience decrease His power.
God is the Most High
There is nothing above or comparable to God. The attributes of God do not resemble that of His creation. No part of God is present in anyone or anything.
God is Perfect
God does not have any human limitations, such as resting on the seventh day after He created the universe.
God always maintains attributes of perfection and does not do anything to compromise this perfection such as “becoming a man” as claimed by other religions.
God does not do ungodly acts, so if God became man and took on human attributes, he would, necessarily, no longer be God.
God is Almighty
Who overpowers everything and who can not be overcome .
He is unbeatable , and nothing can prevent Him from fulfilling what He wants .
Almighty God is the All-Hearing Who responds to the supplication of His servant.
He is so near to you
He even knows what's in your heart without saying it .
You can talk to Him directly
Nothing in between
No pastor
No man
No mediator
It's just you and Him .
Direct connection .
Almighty God says :
Quran(2:186)
God says :
"And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein"
( 50:16 )
The heart reassures when it is certain that God hears detailed complaints, faint groans, and silent sighing.
He is the Most Merciful ، The Most Forgiving .
We need this , because all of us make sins and need to repent to our Lord .
So when we commit a sin or fall short in our worship to Allah , we repent to him , knowing that he is the Most Merciful , The Most Forgiving .
How do we repent ?
Just ask for forgiveness , and He forgives us.
No mediator in between .
It's just you and Him .
One to one relationship.
Allah (Almighty God) says in Quran :
" Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
(39:53)
The name of God in Islam is “Allah” which means Almighty God.
The word Almighty God is a standard translation of the word Allah in the English Bible.
But it's still the same in the Arabic Bible till now .
The word Allah is used by all Arab speakers from all faiths, including Arab Christians and Arab Jews.
Belief in the Prophets
God loves us and has mercy on us that's why He sent us prophets (messengers) to show us the straight path ,
The first one was Adam, then Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and the last prophet Muhammad.
God sends prophets (messengers)to teach us how to worship him.
And every prophet was sent to a certain group of people
After prophet dies and people misleads the way
God send another prophet
And so on...
All of the prophets were continuation of each other and were sent with the same message ,
that there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True God , known in Arabic as Allah.
Every prophet was the way to God in his time.
Abraham and Noah were the way to their people in their time.
And so is Jesus , Moses and Muhammad .
Belief in angels
3-The belief in the existence of angels, the true Muslim believes that God* created the angels, they are different creations who are in the worship of God always and they don’t disobey him
Belief in divine books
4- belief in all divine books, there were so many books, God sent it in succession one after the other so that he updates his messages and keep it on earth whenever humans modify it or alter it , so from these books are ( Torah- Psalms, Gospel, Quran ) , and we believe that Quran is the final book, so it's the only one to be trusted now since it came to correct and show the right path after previous books were altered and modified and mistranslated by People .
Belief in predestination
5- The belief in predestination. The true Muslim believes in the timeless knowledge of God. that he knows the past, present and future and he knows what will happen in advance before it happens .. This is part of his perfection, and we believe that whatever happens to us unwillingly is made for wisdom and it's part of the test and that we should be patient and succeed in it.
Belief in last day of judgment
6-The belief in the last day of Judgment, that one day this world will come to an end, and God will revive all dead people from the beginning of time right until the end , and he will judge each one of us individually a fair judgement, According to Islam the only saved people are those who had faith in the one true God alone (without partners), and submitted to his will, by doing his commandments and teachings which are basically morals
