God Almighty said: (O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord Who created you from a single soul, and from it He created its mate,1 and through both He spread countless men and women. And be mindful of Allah—in Whose Name you appeal to one another—and ˹honor˺ family ties. Surely Allah is ever Watchful over you.)
A message for atheists , Who is the Creator ?
The innate mental principle (Indication of the Creator by the creation) was approved by the Quran and cognitive and faith meanings, have been based upon it, necessitating the Oneness of Allah Blessed and exalted.
[An-Nisa: 1]
He says:
((Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night there are signs for people of reason.(190) ˹They are˺ those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth ˹and pray˺, “Our Lord! You have not created ˹all of˺ this without purpose. Glory be to You! Protect us from the torment of the Fire. (191))
[Al-Imran: 190-191]
You find great emphasis that in contemplating Allah's creation leads to the knowledge of God and the truth of what the prophets brought of a promising punishment to the unbelievers.
And because creation is the clearest indication of God and the most prominent proof of His lordship, the prophets (peace be upon them) taught the people about their Lord through the (evidence) of the creation. For example, here is Abraham, peace be upon him, teaching his people of God, he said:
((He replied, “In fact, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them ˹both˺. And to that I bear witness.”))
[Surah Al-Anbiya: 56]
And this is Moses, peace be upon him, answering the question of Pharaoh
(He answered, “Our Lord is the One Who has given everything its ˹distinctive˺ form, then guided ˹it˺.”)
[Surah Taha: 50]
It appears from all of the above: that creatures indicate their Creator, and call for faith in Him and His oneness, lordship, divinity and perfection of His attributes, and that the Quran determines this issue best and confirms it with the clearest confirmation.
Inference of creation about the Creator is a legal and valid method and also a correct mentality:
1) It is legitimately correct; because the Quran has shown it, directed and guided people to it.
2) It is intellectually correct; because of the fact that a person was brought into (after he was nothing), and created from sperm and then from a leech. People didn’t know this from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but they found this out with their minds, whether the Prophet told them or not.
So, what is meant here: is to show that knowledge is a way to lead to faith in God the Creator.
